WHY POOJA BELONGS IN THE ROOM
She is a team player.
Pooja has spent most of her life being a part of a team, whether that is her dance team, or in a club at school. She understands the importance of working on a team and the impact collaboration has on brainstorming, effective communication, and achieving a goal.
She offers valuable experience.
At the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Pooja is a writer and the Communications Coordinator for the Wisconsin International Review, the Department of Political Science’s premier foreign policy magazine. She has had extensive experience researching different issue topics from around the world and authoring pieces. Before joining ROKK, Pooja interned on a local campaign and with the City of Madison.
She has studied from the best.
Pooja is earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (On Wisconsin!) in Political Science with certificates in African Studies and Middle East Studies. This has led to her interest in foreign policymaking and allowed her to discover how communications and the media play a crucial role in foreign policy.
