ABBEY SCHIEFFER

Account Director

Abbey is a detail-oriented and conscientious communicator. Previously serving as deputy communications director for Congressman Don Bacon (R-NE) and communications director for Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), she knows how to cultivate strong relationships with reporters and media outlets at local, state and national levels.

Preparing C-suite executives for high-profile appearances and media engagements is her expertise. She’s the one to call in a crisis to craft impactful speeches, press releases and op-eds that deliver results for her clients.

She holds a Master of Arts in English from the University of Nebraska-Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts in media and journalism from the University of South Dakota. She is an engaging combination of Midwest meticulousness and D.C. drive.

WHY ABBEY BELONGS IN THE ROOM

01

She is the calm in the storm.

Abbey uses her “Nebraska nice” personality to connect – finding commonality and camaraderie with anyone she meets. While she puts people at ease with her “punny” sense of humor, she will always champion the success of her colleagues, regardless of the team’s trials and tribulations.

02

She finds common ground.

Working on the Hill taught Abbey to look at issues from all sides. Ultimately, the center is the best vantage point to develop a communication strategy that reaches a wider audience.

03

She is a painter and a pointer.

As an experienced communicator, Abbey knows when you need to “paint a story” for your audience, and when it’s best to simply put a fine point on one. She credits her mother –another expert communicator – for instilling these skills in her long before she came to Washington.
