This interest was the driving force behind going overseas for university and has helped shape his research skills.

Going overseas for university for all four years having never left home is a big step to take, but this highlights Charles’ ability to embrace change and uncertainty. He will always seek the best outcome and isn’t afraid to do the unconventional to get there.

Experiences with internships at the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, research on climate policy in Guyana and university work, including his dissertation, have given Charles confidence and skills in his communication skills, both written and verbal.
