With his State Legislative, political campaign and agency experience, Avi brings to ROKK an ability to examine and distill complex policy issues into compelling and straightforward analysis.

As a Senior Account Executive, Avi manages day-to-day client projects, ensuring that each team member stays on task to achieve the client’s stated outcome. He achieves these goals by spearheading communications plans, collaborating on op-eds and conducting high-level analytical research to understand the nuances of his clients’ issues.

Prior to joining ROKK, Avi served as an account manager with DCI Group, working with clients in the telecommunication and media industries to amplify their messages to grasstops and grassroots stakeholders. He also served as a legislative assistant for the Speaker Pro Tempore of the Nevada Legislature and gained valuable campaign experience as an organizer with the Nevada Democratic Coordinated Campaign in 2020.

Avi earned his Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction and High Honors in History at the University of Michigan. His Honors Thesis, “Is this Any Way for Nice Jewish Boys to Behave?” explored American Jewish masculinity in the Jewish Defense League. Avi served as senior
sports editor at the Michigan Daily and was a group leader for Wolverine Support Network, a student-led organization whose mission is to empower Michigan students to create an inclusive community and support each other’s identities.

Avi is always evaluating how best to achieve his clients’ goals and is not afraid to speak up and share ideas for accomplishing them. He is constantly reviewing research, editing policy memos and asking thoughtful questions to determine how he can best

Avi prides himself on developing positive connections with both clients and colleagues in order to ensure team success. He views, op-eds, communications plans and research as team-wide projects, with each individual contributing a vital part.

Avi is laser-focused on his clients’ issues and will always be on top of the latest developments, movers and shakers. He takes pride in consuming a wide variety of media to remain attuned to current political and socio-cultural events and trends and infuses this knowledge to shape his clients’ narratives.

Avi served as the Student Commencement Speaker at the University of Michigan and was
thrilled to be chosen to speak in Michigan Stadium— "The Big House”— before an audience of
50,000. In his remarks, he spoke with urgency about the importance of ending the stigma

surrounding student mental health on college campuses. He shared the dais with the Governor
of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer.
