The topic on everyone’s mind in D.C. is the government shutdown, with both parties failing to come to an agreement as Democrats hold their stance on health care issues. Also this week, Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, gave a speech among top military officials at Quantico calling for reformed military culture. Lastly, Hamas was given three to four days to accept Trump’s proposed peace deal between them and Israel, with many of the surrounding countries urging Hamas to accept.
