Account Executive
Josh is a public affairs and communications professional with a background in policy, research and client service. Curious by nature, he enjoys digging into complex issues, understanding the dynamics behind them and translating that insight into clear, effective communications.
As an Account Executive at ROKK, Josh supports clients across strategic communications, media relations, research and account management. Before joining ROKK, Josh worked in political fundraising and advocacy, where he supported client communications, stakeholder engagement, research and fast-moving strategic projects. He also spent time on Capitol Hill, where he developed a strong understanding of the intersection between policy, politics and communications. Josh earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Denver and is pursuing a Master of Public Management at Johns Hopkins University.

Josh’s interest in international affairs has taken him from studying policy in Washington to living and studying abroad and traveling around the world. Those experiences have taught him to look at issues from different perspectives and understand how politics, policy, culture and public opinion can all shape the way people communicate.
He likes to dig deeper.
Josh has always been drawn to research and understanding what is happening beneath the surface. Whether analyzing a policy issue, learning the ins and outs of a new client or keeping up with a fast-moving news cycle, he asks questions, follows the details and works to understand the full story before deciding what matters most.
He’s comfortable outside his comfort zone.
From spending a semester hiking and climbing in the Rocky Mountains to studying abroad and traveling extensively, Josh has never been afraid to put himself in unfamiliar situations. That curiosity and willingness to adapt carries into his work, where he enjoys taking on new issues, learning quickly and figuring things out as he goes.
