Andrea is a strategic communications professional with experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, media engagement and communications strategy for a senior Member of Congress. She has strong media relationships and a proven track record of securing media placements and interviews with top reporters and outlets, thoughtfully placing op-eds, and crafting messaging that reaches targeted audiences. She brings that same discipline when working across cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities under tight deadlines, skills she now uses directly to serve ROKK’s clients.

Most recently, as the sole Communications Director for the Vice Chair of the House Appropriations Committee, Andrea oversaw the Member’s day-to-day communications strategy across every channel, including social media management, digital content creation, press releases, newsletters and mass communications, while serving as the key point of contact for reporters, organizations and local stakeholders. She led message development in close coordination with legislative teams and managed the drafting, editing, and strategic placement of press releases, statements, op-eds and interview bookings.

Andrea is bilingual in English and Spanish and holds a Master of Arts in Global Affairs from Florida International University.
