She gives great advice.

Throughout her life, Saron has earned a reputation for giving great advice within her family and larger social circles. It all boils down to her lifelong passion for understanding people and their behaviors, which led her to work towards a bachelor’s in psychology. Saron’s interests in socio-behavioral and neuropsychology allow her to understand select target audiences and what effective strategies can be used to reach those audiences.

She knows how to get things done.

Whether it’s boosting her grades or burning the midnight oil at the office, Saron knows what it takes to get the job done. Growing up, it was one of the things her family loved but couldn’t stand about her! During a recent position at the State Public Defender’s Office, Saron worked with various attorneys to help them gather resources and create strategies to implement them into her writing for legal documents. She all too often found herself outstaying her welcome at the jail so she could finish her research.

She’s not afraid of hard work.

As the daughter of immigrants from Eritrea and Ethiopia, she saw her parents work multiple jobs and even start their own family-run cleaning company to support themselves. She pitched in at an early age by watching her siblings while her parents worked. And even today, she still helps with the family business by writing emails, drafting contracts and even showing up for a shift to clean. Saron has leveraged her grit and superhuman work ethic throughout her life in various aspects – ask her why her former AP Language teacher calls her a bulldog to this day!
