JEFF GRAPPONE
Executive Vice President, Public Affairs Practice Chair
Having worked for two decades as a senior communicator in the United States Senate, the executive branch and on tough political campaigns, Jeff Grappone knows how important it is to win.

He works closely with clients each day to understand their communications priorities, then leads teams to achieve those objectives.
WHY JEFF BELONGS IN THE ROOM
He knows what it’s like to be on the inside.
With experience as a spokesman for three U.S. senators, Jeff has a firm grasp on how lawmakers, key staff members and reporters think. He’s been engaged in Washington’s toughest fights and understands how to craft communications campaigns that move the needle.
He’s an expert at boiling down complex policy into clear messages.
Jeff led communications for the Senate Republican Conference, the main messaging vehicle for Republican senators. As Deputy Staff Director, he was the top communications advisor to Conference Chairman John Barrasso (R-WY), the third highest ranking Senate Republican. He was instrumental in establishing Chairman Barrasso’s Conference leadership operation.
He’s skilled at helping complex organizations tell their story.
As the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs at the U.S. Department of Labor, Jeff led a team of over 60 communicators in Washington and across the nation. In addition to designing communications initiatives to advance policies to help American workers, he was responsible for managing communications activities related to the release of market-moving economic data, such as the national jobs report.
He brings perspective from the c-suite.
Jeff served as a senior communicator at Siemens USA’s corporate headquarters in Washington, D.C., where he led communications and media relations initiatives for the Fortune 100 company’s U.S.-based energy businesses.

Jeff is enthusiastic about all things related to his native state of New Hampshire. Ask him how young he was when he first volunteered for a candidate running in the state’s First in the Nation presidential primary.
