GISELLE VARRE
Communications Assistant

Giselle has a passion for making a strong impact on all she touches. She recently graduated from Butler University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communication: PR & Advertising and a concentration in Diverse Perspectives in Communications. Before coming to ROKK, Giselle stayed active on her campus as her student-run communications agency’s first Talent & Culture Director, overseeing the in-house team and working to cultivate internal and external agency relationships. She also interned with the Indiana Supreme Court’s Office of Communication, Education and Outreach and served as the Vice President of Communications for her Black Student Union (BSU).
She is a returning Communications Assistant at ROKK where she is eager to learn and be a helping hand to her client teams.
WHY GISELLE BELONGS IN THE ROOM
She is a team player.
Giselle motivates colleagues to do their best and is always willing to fill gaps when needed. It’s all hands on deck when creating excellent and impactful work!
She brings people together.
When she transferred to Butler, Giselle hit the ground running and joined the Black Student Union’s executive board. Working with the BSU has allowed her to spearhead efforts to work with other on-campus organizations, local Black-owned businesses and other BSU’s from surrounding universities. These connections have been crucial to the growth and foothold of the organization on Butler’s campus.
She leaves things better than she found them.
Giselle approached her internship at the Indiana Supreme Court with determination and quickly learned how to efficiently and effectively navigate communications in the State government. As her parting gift, she created a “how-to” guide for future interns to get them up to speed on internal operations and hit the ground running.
