Erickson has a deeply rooted passion for creativity from as far back as he can remember. His inspiration stems from his life-long quest to learn from all areas of design to include architecture, product design, fashion and more.

With experience across many sectors, including federal, military, private and political, Erickson has proven his ability to adapt his aesthetic to the clients’ specific needs. He strongly believes that design should be more than just a “pretty face” and brings a sense of storytelling and clarity to his work.

He strives to understand the message from the lowest and highest levels.

Erickson started his career at the Pentagon, as an active-duty service member on the U.S. Army Operations Center Crisis Team, designing briefings and message materials for Senior Military Leadership. He leveraged this experience in communication, design, and storytelling to build an impressive career across multiple industries.

He listens “between the lines”.

Erickson’s intuition and experience guide him to quickly understand what is needed and how to deliver dynamic products. He is able to take his client’s message and adapt it to resonate with multiple audiences with varying points of view.

He is very nimble in his strategic thinking and his execution.

Whether it’s a working on a WordPress site, presentation templates and decks, proposal, animations, video editing, or strategic marketing input, Erickson is comfortable working on any and all aspects of any project, which has allowed him to see a product from many different angles.

Not really into TV, but loves large-scale sci-fi movies and movies that twist your head in a million directions (Blade Runner 2049, Under the Skin, Beyond the Black Rainbow, etc.).

FUN FACT

Erickson is a curious person, and gravitates to any and everything creative, from upcycling vintage European military uniforms and denim into bespoke streetwear, designing and embroidering custom patches, and printing his own t-shirts, to writing, recording and performing original music.
