Cristina is a former journalist with a decade of experience reporting on Congress turned public affairs strategist helping clients tell their stories to influence policy.

With her deep institutional knowledge of the legislative process and the political media landscape, Cristina knows how to bring complex issues to life in ways that engage policymakers and average citizens alike on both sides of the aisle.

As a Senior Account Director, Cristina develops public affairs campaign strategies and creates digital and social media content to help organizations explain their priorities to target audiences.

Before joining ROKK, Cristina covered the House of Representatives for The Hill over a period that stretched across the leadership tenures of Speakers Boehner, Ryan and Pelosi. She learned how to develop a quick understanding of just about every policy issue under the sun, including three government shutdown fights, two presidential impeachments, debates over health care and tax reform in 2017, and multiple rounds of federal aid to address how the COVID-19 pandemic upended life for families and businesses across the country. In addition to The Hill, Cristina also worked for CQ Roll Call and MSNBC’s daily edition of “Meet the Press.”

Cristina also knows how to work with both sides of the aisle from covering Democratic and Republican leadership for nonpartisan news outlets.
