AJ MANANDIC
Associate Account Executive

With her experience working in digital fundraising and interning on the Hill and at the Department of Treasury, AJ knows how to develop a concise and eye-popping message that catches the attention of policymakers and their stakeholders on both sides of the aisle. Her experience in the public and private sector has led her to be a master of efficiently creating strategic deliverables for clients and chosen audiences.
As an Associate Account Executive, AJ manages the daily tasks that focus on her clients’ communications strategies. She drafts and edits press releases and presentations for her clients, engages on social media, and strategically finds paths to bring her clients’ priorities to the table.
AJ Manandic graduated Cum Laude and received a Bachelor of Arts degree at the George Washington University (Raise High!) in International Affairs with a concentration in security policy and minors in public policy and history. At GW, she was one of the Public Relations chairs for the GW Bipartisan Women’s Supper Club, a student organization that focuses on bringing women from both sides of the aisle together to discuss current events and policy issues with women working in politics, higher-education, and nonprofits. The combination of learning about politics in DC and being a leader for a bipartisan organization introduced her to communications in a bipartisan setting.
WHY AJ BELONGS IN THE ROOM
She brings a diverse experience to ROKK.
By working in digital fundraising and interning on the Hill and in the Office of Public Affairs at the Department of Treasury, AJ has been able to bring a diverse skill set. From the Hill, she developed strong interpersonal skills and social media research, while her time at the Department of Treasury expanded her knowledge on the economy and trade and how to create a concise message to the American public. With her experience in digital fundraising, she was able to work with clients and collaborate with her team members in producing a clear and compelling message for donors.
She is a master of managing social media accounts.
At GW, she created graphics and wrote social media posts and public statements for the GW Bipartisan Women’s Supper Club. From there, she began to explore the dynamics of public affairs and social media management during her internships in college. After graduating GW, she worked for a digital fundraising and public affairs firm, where she worked on fundraising and messaging for three members of Congress. She was eventually given the responsibility of managing a member of Congress’ campaign Facebook and Twitter accounts and took part in highlighting an accomplishment for one of his constituents. Ask her about what she strategically chose to draft, edit, and post on Facebook and Twitter coming into the 2022 Midterm Election.
