IMPACT: ACAF SOARS ABOVE TURBULENT POLICY LANDSCAPE

Through a nearly two year campaign, ROKK’s coalition building and communications strategy made a strong advocacy case for clean aviation fuels. Facing stiff legislative headwinds in a highly adversarial policy landscape, ACAF positioned clean aviation fuels as essential to an America First energy agenda.

The campaign sparked millions of impressions, digital and on-the-ground reach in the Beltway and earned media placements in target states. While other clean energy provisions were gutted in the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the final version of the legislation included provisions to provide longer-term certainty for the clean aviation fuels market, notching a win for ACAF in a very challenging legislative environment.

IMPACT: $14 BILLION TO CONNECT ALL COMMUNITIES TO THE INTERNET.

The campaign resulted in the landmark infrastructure bill becoming law. It contained funding for a permanent broadband benefit and digital equity and inclusion.

The rebrand gave the organization a fresh face, and our media relations campaign quickly built new relationships with top-tier reporters who had ties to the veteran community.

The campaign helped reestablish the organization as a go-to source for veteran issues, elevating media interest in the new CEO and establishing him as a thought leader and regular guest on major news networks.

Our work reinforcing the organization’s standing as a top VSO and trusted partner for policymakers also led a prominent U.S. Senator to introduce legislation on one of its top priorities.

The campaign generated such a powerful public response that lawmakers not only stopped the legislation as written, but revised it to be more favorable to doctors and patients. The revised bill was signed into law the following year.

IMPACT: ILLUSTRATING THE TRUE IMPACT OF VISA DELAYS

Individuals and businesses from all over the world shared stories of how extreme visa delays prevent them from seeing loved ones and gaining and retaining international customers. Excessive processing times led some would-be travelers to go elsewhere, meaning that the U.S. is missing out on revenue. This campaign highlighted how that outdated visa process has an economic impact in addition to the emotional toll.
