A NEW VOICE NEEDED TO BE ELEVATED.

A prominent Veteran Service Organization (VSO) needed to amplify its voice on critical veterans issues and elevate its new CEO. 

CREATING A FRESH IMAGE.

In order to build on the organization’s past successes, ROKK Solutions provided an overhaul of the website and creative design items in order to better reach veterans in need across the country. ROKK capitalized on the organization’s popularity and significant membership by developing and implementing an aggressive digital campaign with the goal of providing veterans with the lifesaving services in the areas of housing, mental health, treatment for toxic exposure and employment.

REVAMPING THE MESSAGE.

We developed a comprehensive communications plan that focused on the organization’s priority issues, leveraged news hooks, and strengthened relationships with key stakeholders in media and policy circles. We supported those efforts with a complete rebrand that included a powerful new website, web ads, and social media.

Our media education campaign quickly built new relationships with top tier reporters who had ties to the veteran community. The campaign served to elevate the organization as a go-to source for veterans in need and created a domino effect of media interest in the new CEO’s expertise. The news hooks ROKK leveraged helped further elevate the new CEO as a thought leader, reinforcing the organization’s standing as a top Veteran Service Organization (VSO) and trusted partner for policymakers. A top senator worked with the organization to present legislation on one of its top priorities, and the CEO has become regular on a major news network.
